According to a report by WABetaInfo, users in certain nations including Germany and Argentina have another deadline time for the refreshed terms of administration, which is June 19, 2021. The pop-up message that shows the date shows that the refreshed terms follow new European Union information assurance laws and clients should acknowledge the terms by June 19 to keep using WhatsApp.

Gadgets360 asked WhatsApp about the same and their answer to the question was as following, “While the majority of users who have received the new terms of service have accepted them, we appreciate some people haven’t had the chance to do so yet. No accounts were deleted on May 15 because of this update and no one in India lost functionality of WhatsApp either.”

  1. WhatsApp should reconsider its privacy policy again, this is a serious matter. Simply extending the deadline will not help them as well as ordinary users.
