OnePlus introduces a new 40-inch FHD model to its Affordable Y-series Smart TVs. This new TV joins the company’s existing 32-inch and 43-inch sets in the series. The TV drives on Android 9 which is not that great as more TVs are now running Android 10 and we can soon expect Android 11 to come on Budget TVs too. The TV runs beside Oxygen Play which is a custom skin for personalized content recommendations.

The OnePlus TV comes with a 40-inch display that features trim bezels and a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) display. This display offers a 93% screen-to-body ratio and it also supports DCI-P3 93% colour gamut for vibrancy and colour accuracy.
It features 20W stereo speakers and also come with Dolby Atmos enhancement. As for the connectivity, the TV comes with Bluetooth 5, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, two HDMI ports, two USB ports, an ethernet port, an antenna port, and also an optical audio port. Just like the other OnePlus TVs, users can use the OnePlus Connect app to control the OnePlus TV 40Y1. The app allows you to type in search queries using your phone, control the volume of your TV, switch between multiple apps, and more.
As for the pricing and availability, the OnePlus TV 40Y1 is priced at Rs 21,999 and will soon be available on Flipkart.
