While a lot of people may not be aware of this but YouTube has finally pushed out an update for iOS devices and now, they can watch YouTube using the Picture in Picture mode too. While it is said to be available until 31st October, there is still a way to get this feature early, so here is how to enable YouTube PiP update on your iOS device.

Do note that this feature is only available for YouTube premium users, so if you are a regular YouTube user then you won’t be able to use this feature.
Now if you’re a YouTube Premium subscriber, you would just need to open up a web browser and head to www.youtube.com/new. From there, you would need to scroll down to the option that says “Picture-in-picture on iOS” is listed and click “Try it out.”
YouTube will not prompt you to sign in to your account if you already aren’t signed in to your account. Then, while watching a YouTube video, just navigate away from the app using the home button or by swiping up and picture-in-picture will start. Some people have reported that while locking the phone screen while watching a PiP makes the video pause, one can also resume it with the lock screen media controls.
