Redmi Note 10S launched alongside Redmi Watch in India. The Note 10S stands in the middle of Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro. It is the first device to come with MIUI 12.5 out-of-the-box in India, which has received a lot of appreciation as Xiaomi claims it is the cleanest MIUI experience ever. Xiaomi has also launched the new Redmi Watch with health tracking features and a 1.4’’ TFT LCD colour display.

As for the Redmi Note 10S, it comes with a 16.33 cm (6.43) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a peak brightness of upto 1100 nits and a 360-degree Ambient Light Sensor that detects the ambient light more accurately to automatically adjust the brightness of the screen. It also features a 180Hz touch sampling rate, which reduces input lag. There is also a dual stereo speaker setup that according to Redmi, “adds impressive experience making consuming content a delight on the phone.”
Under the hood, the phone comes with the MediaTek Helios G95 chipset for a better gaming experience. The CPU has ARM Cortex A55 and A76 clocked up to 2.05GHz paired with the GPU ARM Mali G76 clocked @900MHz. It gets 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and it comes with UFS 2.2 high-speed storage.
In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 10S comes with a quad-camera setup that features a 64MP primary camera, 8MP Ultra-wide lens, 2MP Macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor too. The Ultra-wide camera gets a 118°field of view for better images. The camera comes with features such as skyscraping, colour focus, pro colour and the all-new pro-time-lapse mode. The new feature will allow users to shoot time-lapse videos even under the most complex lighting conditions. As for the front, the phone features a 13MP front in-display punch hole camera for selfies.
As for the battery and charging, the phone sports a 5000mAh battery with a 33W fast charger in the box. According to the claims, the 33W will allow you to charge the phone from 0-100% in around 78 mins and up to 54% charge in just 30 mins. The device comes with an interim MIUI 12.5 update and the final version will be rolled out soon via OTA.
The Redmi Watch features a 1.4’’ inch high-resolution colour display and it also sports an ambient light sensor too. It comes with 200+ watch faces and 4 changeable colour straps, the watch weighs 35g and that makes the Redmi Watch a very light watch. It features an in-built GPS + GLONASS too. This smartwatch allows users to track their trajectory, speed, distance, and calories burnt during workouts.
The smartwatch comes with 11 sports modes such as Cricket, walking, cycling, trekking, outdoor running, treadmill, pool swimming, freestyle, etc. In addition, it provides professional-level health monitoring with advanced health features, such as heart rate monitoring, sleeps monitoring and guided breathing, etc. As for the battery, it comes with a 230mAh battery, the smartwatch can last up to 10 days on a single charge according to the claims. It comes with a POGO pin charger that charges 100% in less than 2 hours.
Additionally, this Redmi watch brings some other features such as music control, idle alert, weather information, alarm, emoji support, app notifications, call silence/to reject and much more. Users can control and set up all these features on the smartwatch via their phone through the Xiaomi Wear app.
For the pricing and avalibilty now, the Redmi Note 10S will be available across Mi.com, Amazon.in, Mi Home and Mi Studio stores starting 12:00 noon starting 18th May 2021. It will also be soon available across all 10,000+ retail stores. The price is Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB+64GB variant, whereas Rs. 15,999 for 6GB+128GB variant. As for the Redmi Smart Watch, it will be available for Rs. 3,999 starting May 25, 2021, 12:00 noon across Mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Homes and Mi Studios.
