Amazfit on Thursday announced a new smartwatch in India namely: the Amazfit GTR 2. It features a round dial, sport and classic editions with up to 14-day battery life starting at Rs. 12,999.
The newly arrived Amazfit GTR 2 features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. The smartwatch has over 90 built-in sports modes, offers 24-hour heart rate monitoring, blood-oxygen measuring, and stress level monitoring. Additionally, the smartwatch measures sleep quality, sleep stages like REM and more.
The GTR 2 packs in a 471mAh battery which the company claims to last for 14 days on typical usage. On basic usage with power-saving turned on, this smartwatch can last for up to 38 days. The company claims that the watch can be fully charged in 2.5 hours. The smartwatch also has 5 ATM water resistance up to 50 meters along with 3GB of storage which can store up to 600 music files.
The Amazfit GTR 2 is compatible with the Zepp app. It works with phones running Android 5.0 and above, and iOS 10 and above.
Pricing
The Amazfit GTR 2 has been priced at ₹12,999 for the sport edition, and Rs. 13,499 for the classic edition. The smartwatch will be available on Flipkart, and consumers can purchase it starting today. However, Amazfit had started pre-orders for the GTR 2 last week in India. The classic edition of Amazfit GTR 2 comes with a black leather strap and stainless steel casing, while the sport edition comes with a black leather strap with an aluminum alloy casing.
