Building upon their Instax lineup, Fujifilm today announced the Instax Mini 11 in the Indian market. It’s been a while since we got an addition to the already large lineup of cameras. The Instax Mini 11 offers up the same fun instant-photography experience, but with few improvements.
The new Instax Mini 11 comes in a slightly slimmer profile with 107.6 x 121.2 × 67.3mm in dimensions and a gross weight of 293 grams without batteries, strap and the film. The brand claims that the body on this new model is completely redesigned with five new pale color tones including blush pink, sky blue, charcoal grey, ice white and lilac purple.
It also comes with an automatic exposure function that senses the level of ambient light when the shutter button is pressed and optimizes shutter speed and flash accordingly. There is also a new ‘Selfie’ mode ideal for selfies and close-ups and can be activated by simply pulling out the front end of the lens.
At the launch, Mr. Haruto Iwata, Managing Director, Fujifilm India, stated that ‘With the launch of Instax Mini 11, we aim to make life easier for photographers, more advanced and enjoyable’. There is no word on its pricing just yet but at the launch, the camera would contain two AA-size alkaline batteries, a hand strap, and a shutter accessory set for free.
