OnePlus TV

Along with the launch of OnePlus 7T flagship smartphone at an event in New Delhi, OnePlus also unveiled the much-awaited OnePlus TV in India today. OnePlus has unveiled two new Smart TVs in India today – OnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro. The only major difference between the Q1 Pro and Q1 is the sliding soundbar.

Both the OnePlus TVs comes with a 55-inch Quantum LED(QLED) 4K panel which is custom-built. The TV comes with 96% DCI-P3 color gamut and 120% NTSC color gamut which is the world’s highest for any TV. Further, the TV comes with anti-glare tech, Gamma Color Magic chip, and the TV is integrated with Dolby Vision Cinema HDR.

In the audio department, OnePlus TVs comes a sliding soundbar(Q1 Pro) with 8 Speakers – 4 speakers, 2 tweeters, 2 woofers setup with 6 forward-facing and 2 backward with an integrated 2.1 audio. There are 20W 60Hz woofers and 2 tweeters that are capable of producing punchy bass. Overall, the OnePlus TV comes with 50W speaker output. At the rear, OnePlus TV comes with Carbon fiber design with a magnetic plate that houses all the ports and even you can slide in the cable. The OnePlus Q1 comes with 4 stereo speakers.

The OnePlus TV runs on the latest Android 9 Pie with Oxygen Play and the TV will receive Android TV updates for the next 3 years. There are a lot of apps, games, streaming services available for download on the TV via Play Store. However, Netflix support will be available later this year. You can use the photos taken by you as a screensaver. OnePlus Connect is an App that will let you control the OnePlus TV remotely. It allows controlling the TV using a trackpad, it also comes with Google Assistant. Smart control will reduce the volume of the TV whenever you get a call on tour smartphone. The app also allows you to take a screenshot and also allow you to multitask.
