Vivo today launched a new affordable smartphone in India under the Y series, Vivo Y90. Vivo Y90 is the company’s most affordable smartphone in the Y-Series that comes with Face unlock feature. The device will be available across all offline partner stores and major e-commerce websites starting tomorrow.

The Vivo Y90 features a 6.22-inch HD+(720×1520p) Halo FullView display with a dew-drop notch, it is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 processor clocked at 2GHz, IMG PowerVR GE GPU. The device comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage with microSD card support up to 256GB. The Vivo Y90 is packed with a 4030mAH and it comes bundled with a 5W charger that chargers via a micro USB 2.0 port. On the software, the device is running on Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Over to the camera department, the Vivo Y90 comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and the features include face beauty, professional mode, time-lapse, slo-mo, time watermark. At the front, there is a 5MP front camera with f/1.8 aperture, smart beauty, palm photo, voice photo, self-timer, time Watermark. Other features of the device include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi(2.4GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, OTG, FM Radio, GPS, and GLONASS.
