It is smartphones like the motorola one vision that reminds us of what we have been missing all this while. I’ll be honest that when the Motorola announced the motorola one vision I felt it was yet another phone with 48MP camera sensor with an in-display selfie camera.
But I was so wrong! Here is a list of features that prove how the motorola one vision is way ahead of the competition.
- For starters, it’s the first Android One device to feature an In-display camera and that too a 25MP + Quad Pixel sensor. Though we have seen the in-display or punch hole camera on a bunch of devices it is Motorola that brings to us the in-display camera smartphone with pristine Android One experience.
- Dual 48MP Rear Camera sensor – if you remember not so long ago all smartphones were trailing between 12 megapixels to 16 megapixels camera sensors. And now suddenly we have this advent of 48 megapixels quad pixel camera sensors. Let me explain what a quad pixel sensor means with these new age quad pixel sensors, you will be able to capture 12MP photographs that are much better in detail, colour accuracy, shadows and textures than a conventional 12MP smartphone camera sensor.Well, you can thank the new age camera sensors that combine four individual pixels to give one superpixel, which measures 1.6µm. These pixels are larger, and hence, capture significantly more information than a standard sensor. As an end result, with the help of pixel binning, you get 1/4th the maximum resolution of the 48-megapixel sensor, giving you the high resolution and more detailed 12MP photographs.
Now, these cameras on the motorola one vision are not only pro at clicking pictures in any light conditions. But they are also great at capturing video thanks to the Optical Image Stabilisation they offer. Making it one of the few smartphones to offer OIS on an under 20K smartphone.
- Now to the gamechanger, the third and the most important point that made me feel what we have been missing all this while – it’s 21:9 FHD+ Cinematic Display! Yes, it’s refreshing, exhilarating and an absolute delight to hold and use. Honestly, till the time I held the device and started using this unconventional display ratio felt weird.
The fact that it is India’s only 21:9 Display smartphone makes it a unique proposition. And top of that you get the in-screen selfie camera making it the first 21:9 CinemaVision Display smartphone with an in-screen camera.
I wasn’t very sure about it but turns out the tall design is so much better than those wide phones we have been using for so long. As soon it switched on, everything felt better – the home screen, binge-watching, gaming and even typing. Also, the curved backs on the one vision add to the ergonomic delight this device is.
