Lenovo has made its comeback to the Indian smartphone market after a year and has today announced a new budget smartphone, Lenovo K9. The last smartphone that Lenovo had launched was the Lenovo K8 Plus back in September 2017. The new K series smartphone from the company, the Lenovo K9 comes with a dual rear camera setup at the rear as well as front making this the only smartphone in this price segment to come with a quad-camera setup.
The Lenovo K9 comes 5.7-inch HD+(720 x 1440 pixels) 18:9 2.5D Glass display. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor clocked at 2.0Ghz, IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU clocked at 650MHz. It is packed with 3GB of RAM and houses 32GB storage with microSD card support up to 256GB. It is packed with a pretty decent 3000mAh battery with USB Type-C port and is running on Android 8.1 Oreo.
In the camera department, it comes with a dual camera dual 13MP(f/2.2 Aperture)+5MP(f/2.4 Aperture) with dual LED flash, PDAF(Phase Detection Auto Focus), 1.12 micrometer, Correlated Temperature (CCT). The selfie dual camera 13MP(f/2.2 Aperture)+5MP(f/2.2 Aperture), 1.12 micrometer, Selfie Light. The rear camera supports Full HD video recording up to@ 60fps. The rear camera also comes with 9 levels of natural bokeh improvement from f/1.0 to f/1.6, AI features. The fingerprint scanner is located at the rear and comes with face unlock that can unlock the phone in 0.3 secs.
