Honor India has announced a new mid-range smartphone to the Indian market with the launch of Honor 9N. The USP of the device is the 19:9 aspect ratio display present up front with a notch. The smartphone also comes with a dual rear camera setup and a 16MP front-facing camera.
The Honor 9N sports a 5.84-inch notch equipped display up front with Full HD+ (2280x 1080 pixels) 19:9 2.5D curved glass, it is powered by the in-house Kirin 659 Octa-core SoC clocked at 2.4GHz and is coupled with Mali T830-MP2 GPU. The device comes in three storage variants to choose from- the base model with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, the mid variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and the top variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It supports microSD card up to 256GB. It is running on EMUI 8.0 based on top of Android 8.0 Oreo and is packed with 3000mAh battery. 
In the camera department, the device comes with a 13MP+2MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash with features like Change backgrounds, add effect, control the amount of bokeh, and alter your reality with the exciting AR lens. There is a 16MP front-facing camera with Portrait Mode and Gesture Control. Other features include Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS.
The fingerprint is present at the rear of the device. Apart from unlocking the device, the fingerprint scanner can be used for Answering calls, Stopping alarm, notification pulldown, capturing videos/images, browse photos, quick payment with Paytm. The device also supports the face unlock feature, which will show the notifications only to the owner of the phone. Further, the device comes with bike mode, Gaming suite mode, which lets you continue to play games even when you are getting calls/ messages. The party mode lets users sync-up the music up to 7 devices, the Party mode feature along with GPU turbo technology which is said to increase graphics processing by 60% and reduce power consumption by 30% will be part of the upcoming OTA update.

Pricing and Availability
The Honor 9N 3+32GB is priced at INR 11,999, the 4GB+64GB is priced at INR 13,999 and the 4GB+128GB is available for INR 17,999. The device will be available on Flipkart and Honor e-store from July 31st in Sapphire Blue, Lavender Purple, Robin Egg Blue & Midnight Black colors.
