YU rolls out the Android Nougat-7.1.1 update for YUREKA BLACK

Yu has announced that they have started pushing out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for the recently launched Yu device, Yureka Black. The Yureka Black was announced on June 1st in India with Android Marshmallow and it got Android 7.1.2 via Beta Update.

The users of YURELA BLACK can also follow the given below steps to update their phone:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click ‘About Phone’
  3. Click on ‘Software Update’
  4. Download the Update & Install

The  Yu Yureka Black was announced for the price tag of INR 8,999 and is available exclusively on Flipkart. The device sports a 5-inch Full HD display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 up front. It is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC and is coupled with Adreno 505GPU. It is packed with 4 gigs of RAM and is equipped with 32GB storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via sd card. Yureka Black is packed with a 3000mAh battery with the power-saving mode.

On the camera front, the device sports a 13MP Sony IMX 258 sensor at the rear with a 5 element lens, the camera has Night-mode, Beauty Features, Super Pixel and HDR shooting capabilities along with dual LED flash. The front houses an 8MP Front camera with flash. The front of the device also houses a fingerprint scanner.
