Sony has announced its flagship smartphone the Xperia XZ Premium at MWC today, it is also the world’s first smartphone with the latest Snapdragon 835 processor. The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch 4K HDR display, with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back of the device. It has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera and also has a dedicated camera shutter button, similar to the previous gen of Sony smartphones. It comes with IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The fingerprint scanner is embedded into the power button on the right side of the device. The rear camera house a 19MP rear camera with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, it supports 4K video recording and also 960fps slow-motion video. The device is running on Android 7.0 Nougat and comes in with optional Dual Sim variant.
