Housing today announced that it is expanding its Rent and Resale category operations into 16 additional cities in India. These cities include Aurangabad, Nashik, Surat, Vadodara, Dehradun, Ahmedabad, Indore, Bhopal, Jaipur, Kolhapur, Lucknow, Patna, Jamshedpur, Mysore, Goa, Bilaspur. Consumers looking at renting or buying resale homes in these cities can now log on to Housing’s online and mobile platform to avail its services.
Technology has permeated almost all aspects of a Tier II consumer and he is still looking for more. Be it internet or mobile, this consumer is as deft at adopting both. It is this ability of the consumer that gives confidence to Housing to enter these markets and offer them the unique experience of renting and buying properties online.
India’s Tier II cities are experiencing rapid growth and the potential is still not used to the optimal levels. One factor driving online surfing in smaller cities is the rising number of people using mobile phones to access the Internet. When it comes to buying and renting property then there is no need to look into tier I cities only. Rather small towns now offer better facilities and opportunities. Social and economic developments in such locations are high and as professionals bring their expertise to these vibrant cities, the residential areas must expand to accommodate the inflow of population.
“Our mission is to list each and every house in India on our platform to provide the consumer with the best home buying experience. We are extremely pleased to announce that we will now be available to consumers in 16 emerging cities taking our total reach to 61 cities in India. With our technology, consumers who wish to rent or buy resale property in these cities will now be treated to a hassle free experience which will make them “look up” to a new life experience” says Rishabh Gupta, COO from Housing.
Housing has revolutionized the Indian real estate market by launching first of its kind map based product and expanding its presence to 61 cities in total in India. Some new features on Housing’s website include Polygon and Sub-locality search and features in the pipeline include Search by building name and road name.
