Thief: The Dark Project, a game that helped invent what’s now commonly referred to as the stealth action genre. We have loved all of the thief games, they are entertaining with interesting stories. And now we are all set for the sequel to the highly successful Thief: Deadly Shadows. It will be out on 28th Feb, 2014 and will be available for PC, PS3 and PS4, and Xbox 360.
About Thief:
Series hero, Garrett returns to the Gothic, industrial metropolis known simply as the City to steal anything and everything that will make him richer. Unfortunately, the City is broiling with social tension as it is ravaged by a plague and lorded over by a political tyrant known as the Baron. In order to survive his adventures, Garrett will have to pay attention to his environment and make use of the many possible paths through each of the game’s levels.
This game is a reboot of the franchise taking away some of the prominent elements of the previous game’s stories such as magic and the Hammerites.
It was confirmed by the studio’s audio director Jean-Christophe Verbert that voice actor Stephen Russell won’t reprise his role as Garrett because the new game is using full motion capture so they can capture the voice at the same time as the actors’ movements and facial expressions and therefore needed an actor that can voice Garrett while doing his own stunts. PHEW THAT’S SOMETHING AWESOME!

WHAT DOES THE MEDIA SAY ABOUT THIEF:
“The game’s navigation was smooth and the decaying Victorian-styled city was a eerily fun setting to explore, while its stealth mechanics proved novel to experiment with.”~ Polygon.com
“When you finish a game like Thief, you don’t sit down to talk about the narrative. You talk with your mates about how you used a water arrow on one torch and a fire arrow on another to confuse some guards while you stole a necklace.” ~ Ausgamers.com
“Thief fell off the radar for a few years, and its return left many sceptical, but it’s a relief to see that it’s real, it works, and it has plenty of intelligent aspects that don’t ruin its stealth tradition. Eidos Montreal continues to do interesting things with classic franchises, both in terms of staying true to their essence and in modernizing them for what appears to be the greater good.” ~ IGN
“I’m not ready to say whether Eidos Montreal has succeeded in either endeavour, but I can say for certain that Thief is not a game for those who prefer a combat-oriented approach. Trust me, you will die. This is a stealth game through and through–one whose mantra of “stealing to survive” has never been more apt.” ~ GameSpot
PRICE:
Thief will be priced at Rs 3999/- for PS4, Rs 2999/- for PS3 and Xbox 360, and Rs 1499/- for PC.
