Realme has recently launched its top of the line smartphone in its number series and it’s called the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G. Ever since this smartphone was teased officially, there has been a lot of hype around it. The company has packed in a lot of new-age features in this mid-ranger, including a flagship-grade primary rear camera. So, in this article, we have shared with you all the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G Pros and Cons.
Realme 9 Pro+ 5G Pros and Cons Explained
PROS:
Amazing Display: The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 430 nits of peak brightness. This AMOLED display offers great punchy colours and looks good even from different viewing angles.
Excellent Primary Camera: The 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor is one of the main USPs of the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G. We have already seen this camera sensor before on some other affordable flagship smartphones too and it captures excellent images on the new Realme 9 Pro+ 5G.
Good Stereo Speakers: The new Realme 9 Pro+ 5G gets good quality Dolby Atmos stereo speakers that are perfectly loud with clear vocals. Moreover, even the bass doesn’t distort too much on higher volumes.
Android 12 out of the box: The new Realme 9 Pro+ 5G is one of those very few mid-range smartphones that will be shipped with Android 12 out of the box along with RealmeUI 3.0. Moreover, it will get Android 13 and Android 14 updates as well.
Fast Charging: Realme is offering its latest mid-range smartphone with a 4500mAh battery along with a 60W SuperDart fast charger that can juice up the smartphone in under an hour.
Good Processor: The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G draws power from the MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. This chipset offers good day to day performance and can be used for gaming as well.
CONS:
Price: The first major drawback of the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G is its price. The base 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant of the smartphone has been priced at Rs 24,999, and it does seem a bit overpriced.
Video Stability: Realme is offering OIS (optical image stabilisation) with the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G. However, the video stability isn’t as good as one would expect it to be and it’s certainly not flagship level as Realme claims it to be.
Secondary Cameras: The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G gets an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2 MP macro sensor. The secondary cameras of the smartphone aren’t that good.
Loads of Bloatware: Finally, the last negative point about the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G is that it comes with a lot of pre-installed bloatware. However, the good news is that most of them can be uninstalled.

I like the basic variant too. Quite astonishing to see the price and the dimensity 810 in it.
I think this Realme 9 pro plus has more pros than cons. A nice product by the brand, that too with a Mediatek chipset.
The mediatek processor and the Super AMOLED display are two selling points. I am talking about the 9 pro +
