WhatsApp update for iOS can help read messages without the blue tick

WhatsApp update for iOS can help read messages without the blue tick. According to multiple reports, for everyone who is running the WhatsApp beta, and have updated it would be able to view the entire chats without even having to open them. While this may sound like something that would make it much more hassle-free for users to see messages, it also would allow users on WhatsApp for iOS to read messages without even letting to know someone that they saw the message.

If you are a WhatsApp Beta user on iOS and have updated to the version 2.21.140.9 then you would be able to view more details of a chat just within the notification banner. Users would be able to scroll up to even view older messages from that particular chat. This new feature will allow the user to view more messages and even media like images, GIF, videos and stickers.

Users would we able to expand the in-app notification that is to show the chat preview: the chat preview is not static like the one that appears when you peek on a chat cell, so the user can scroll up and down the view to see older and newer messages. However, one thing to note here is that the user will have no need to enter the chat to view the media. This again means that the chat will not get updated at the sender’s end and they will not get the blue tick, even if the read receipts feature is on. One thing that users would need to make sure is that they do not reply via the notification or otherwise the bluetick would be sent to all the previous messages.
