Take your Memoji to the next level this World Emoji Day
Apple device owners have always had an upper hand when it comes to emojis or the more personalised version of it – Memoji. And now with the latest iteration of the upcoming operating systems, Apple is taking it to the next level. To commemorate World Emoji Day, this Saturday, July 17. Apple iPhone users looking can dress up their Memoji with brand new customizations that are available in the public beta preview of iOS 15.
The new updates to MeMoji include a lot of changes from a new set of clothing to headgear, glasses and much more:
  • Clothing: users can customize their Memoji with more than 40 outfits that reflect their style, mood, or the season with up to three different colours, and they can show it off using Memoji stickers with expressive body language that includes the upper body.

  • Multicoloured headwear: Memoji can represent a favourite sports team or university with multicoloured headwear.

  • New glasses: There are three new options for glasses, including heart, star, and retro-shaped options, and users can select the colour for the frame and lenses.

CochelarImplant Memoji

  • Accessibility options: New accessibility options let users represent themselves with cochlear implants, oxygen tubes, or a soft helmet.

OxygenTube Memoji

  • Two different eye colours: Users can select a different colour for their left eye and right eye.

New Clothing Memoji

Plus, iOS 15 offers nine new Memoji stickers that include a shaka, a hand wave, a light bulb moment, and more.
iOS 15 will be available this fall as a free software update, and in the meantime users interested in test driving the software early (on a secondary device) and experiencing the new customization options today, can sign up for the public beta here: https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/
