FaceTime will continue to exist as an Apple-only service that’s why FaceTime calls have to be started by someone using an Apple device first. The non-existing FaceTime users can join the group by the meeting link. Before proceeding ahead, it’s necessary to set up FaceTime on your apple device.
HOW TO SET UP FACETIME APP
- Open the settings on your device that’s running on iOS, iPadOS, macOS
- Scroll down to the app settings section and click on FaceTime settings
- Use the slider to activate FaceTime
- Then it’ll ask you to log into your Apple account using your account credentials Note– If you don’t have an Apple account, it’s time for you to create one for yourself
- Now go to your FaceTime app and it’ll be activated for your use
HOW TO USE FACETIME ON ANDROID & WINDOWS
- Tell your friend with an Apple device to open the FaceTime share a FaceTime call link with you through any medium of communication i.e text, email, messenger or social media
- That special web link can then be shared with any Android user or people using Windows. When a Non-Apple User or recipient will receive the link, they will be taken to a browser page where they can join FaceTime after entering their name
