Clubhouse Android hits 1 Million

The clubhouse app is one of the hottest apps in the market right now. It has gained quite a lot of attention firstly because of the new concept it brings, and also because it is only available for iOS users at the moment. Now, this may sound a lot of fun, that there is an unofficial Clubhouse app available for Android. You would be shocked to know that the app is actually a Trojan that is stealing the user data. It was available on the Google Play Store for a while, but after the complaints made by the users, Google has taken down the app.

According to reports by ESET Malware Researcher, Lukas Stefanko, it has BlackRock malware that allows it to get credentials from more than 458 applications. These apps include financial, banking, cryptocurrency exchanges, social, and a lot of other applications are included as well. This fake Android Clubhouse app actually doesn’t even allow users to access the actual service meaning that it won’t allow the user to join the discussions. Either it doesn’t even allow the user to create an account, so basically it is completely a fake app.

We recommend the users not to install the app as there is a very high possibility of them losing their data. However, this app is removed from the Google Play Store, don’t try any other fake app until the official announcement is made.
