VAIO Laptops

Japan-based VAIO has introduced twp new laptops in India namely the Vaio E15 and Vaio SE14 as the company marks its comeback in India. Both the laptops feature a full-HD IPS displays and come bundled with Microsoft Office 365. Japan-based VAIO Corporation is retracing its way into tech-enthusiasts’ hearts with Hong Kong-based Nexstgo Company Limited. The license agreement between both companies includes manufacturing, sales and marketing as well as servicing of VAIO laptops under the VAIO trademark in Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Middle East markets and now in India. 

Vaio E15 specifications

The Vaio E15 sports a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS display with narrow bezels. Under the hood, it is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 or AMD Ryzen 7 mobile processor coupled Radeon Vega 8 or Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics. There’s support for DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SSD storage to go with.

Connectivity options on the laptop include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2x USB 3.0 ports, a Micro-HDMI, and a USB Type-C port with Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 charging support. Moreover, The laptop also features a backlit keyboard along with dual firing speakers. Vaio E15 has been priced in India starting at Rs. 66,990, and the laptop will be available in two color options namely Ink Black and Tin Silver.

Vaio SE14 specifications

The Vaio SE14  features a 14-inch full-HD IPS display with anti-glare coating, sports an island-style keyboard with backlit support. Under the hood, the laptop is being powered by Intel Core i5 processor coupled with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. There are quad firing speakers, with two top-firing speakers and two bottom-firing ones.

Next up, the Vaio SE14 comes with an Ergo Lift hinge that raises the laptop when opened to provide an ideal typing angle, the company claims. The laptop comes with 2x USB Type-C and USB 3.0 ports as well as an HDMI port. There’s a battery that is praised to deliver up to 13 hours of usage on a single charge and supports quick charging. For biometrics and security, there’s a fingerprint sensor and includes Windows Hello support. The Vaio SE14, has been priced at  Rs. 84,690 for the base variant and features Dark Gray and Red Cooper colour options.
