Lava Z2

Indian smartphone company Lava Mobiles, on Thursday, announced Lava Z1, Lava Z2, Lava Z4, Lava Z6 in India as a part of the Make in India program, however, the Lava Z1 holds the distinguished title of the first smartphone designed in India.

Lava Z1 specifications

The Lava Z1, as the company claims is the first design-in-India smartphone. It packs in a military-grade build, a 5-inch display covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio A20 SoC, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone also features a 5-megapixel camera sensor at the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front. There’s 16GB of storage and a 3,100mAh battery. The Lava Z1 has been priced at Rs. 5,499 for the single 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant.

Lava Z2 specifications

The Lava Z2 features a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and is covered with a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 protection. There’s a waterdrop notch. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone has a dual rear camera setup packing in a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, the phone sports an 8-megapixel camera sensor; the smartphone runs on Android 10 (Go edition)

There’s 32GB of storage to go with, which can be expanded via microSD card. Other Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port. There’s a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging and comes with a military-grade certification. The Lava Z2 carries a price tag of Rs. 6,999 for the base 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant.

Lava Z4 specifications

The Lava Z4 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM. It sports a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front.

The Lava Z4 comes with 64GB of internal storage further expandable via microSD card. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port. There are a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5,000mAh battery. The Lava Z4 has been priced at Rs.8,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant

Lava Z6 specifications

The Lava Z6 boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM. On the rear, there’s a triple rear camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor.

There’s 64GB of onboard storage to go with, which can be expanded via a microSD card. Additionally, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5,000mAh battery. It has been priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration.
