Vivo-X50-series

Vivo has just announced the Vivo X50 and the X50 Pro flagship smartphones in India alongside the Vivo TWS Neo, the company’s first Truly Wireless Earphones. Emphasising on the camera’s, both the smartphones pack in a quad rear camera setup and come with 33W fast charging out of the box.

The Vivo X50 sports a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,376 pixels with support for HDR10+. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset and is coupled with 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. On to the cameras,  the vanilla X50 features a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel portrait lens, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor along with a 5-megapixel macro camera. On the front, it packs in a  32 MP selfie camera. the smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor with a 4,200 mAh battery alongside support for 33W fast charging.

The Vivo X50 will be available in two colours Frost Blue and Glaze Black and will go on sale in two variants: 8 GB + 128 GB storage variant priced at Rs 34,999, and 8 GB + 256 GB storage variant priced at Rs 37,999.

The X50 Pro features a 6.56-inch curved OLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, having a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,376 pixels. Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC from Qualcomm which is coupled with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. The smartphones focus on optics and have a revolutionary Gimbal camera system. As far as the camera specifications are concerned,  the X50 Pro houses a quad-camera setup with a primary 48-megapixel  Sony IMX598 sensor, a secondary 13-megapixel portrait lens, an 8 MP telescopic sensor which can go up to 60X hybrid zoom alongside an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The primary camera uses a gyroscope sensor and takes uses of a double ball suspension mount to provide stabilization. On the front, it packs in a 32-megapixel front-facing sensor. On to the battery, the Vivo X50 Pro is equipped with a 4,315 mAh battery with 33W fast charging technology.

The Vivo X50 Pro comes will only be available in a colour and storage variant single variant offering Alpha Grey colour, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage which is priced at Rs 49,990.  The smartphone will be available for pre-booking starting today and go on sale on 24 July in India.

Vivo TWS Neo earbuds

The TWS Neo from Vivo sports 14.2mm moving coil which has been designed to allow users to make the most out of its flagship DeepX Stereo Sound effects. It also makes use of the aptX Adaptive technology with a Qualcomm chipset, which claims to offer 1.5x more sound data than “traditional wireless earphones”. It is powered by Qualcomm’s QCC3046 chip and each bud weighs 4.7 grams. These new buds feature touch controls and support aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC codecs.

They are rated IP54 and come with Dual-Beamforming microphones for AI Noise Cancelling. Vivo also claims that TWS Earphone Neo has a low latency of 88ms. Priced at Rs.5,990 the Vivo TWS Neo will be available in blue and white colour options.
