Sony today announced the launch of a new G Lens TM series, the FE 20mm F1.8 G (Model name SEL20F18G). Ensuring excellent G Lens resolution and bokeh, the FE 20mm F1.8 G is compact, lightweight and has an impressive corner to corner resolution in a large-aperture wide-angle prime lens. It allows its users more freedom to shoot stunning landscapes, starscapes and impressive video.

Exceptionally high-resolution image with exquisite bokeh
The smart lens design features two AA (advanced aspherical) elements, three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements for the effective suppression of chromatic aberration and delivery of high corner-to-corner image quality even at the maximum aperture F1.8. It has excellent close-up performance with a minimum focus distance of 0.19 meters (max. magnification: 0.2 times) and delivers beautiful bokeh.

The frame uses two XD (extreme dynamic) Linear Motors to deliver fast, precise and quiet autofocusing for both stills and video shooting.

The FE 20mm F1.8G is priced at INR 83,990 with sales starting March 12th and will be available across all Sony Center, Alpha Flagship stores, Sony authorized dealers and major electronic stores across India.
