The Realme 6 and 6 Pro will be unveiled on March 5 and that hasn’t stopped the leaks to pour in. The company has been posting official teasers about the capabilities of the two phones but has mostly kept the looks of the smartphones under tight wraps. Thanks to our source, we now have a clear shot of how both the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro would look like.
The Realme 6 will feature a single punch-hole display while the Realme 6 Pro will have a dual punch-hole that will house an additional ultra-wide selfie camera in addition to the normal camera. The front camera setup on the Realme 6 Pro will mimic that of the Poco X2. Other than this, the Realme 6 Pro will feature a 90Hz Ultra Smooth FHD+ Display which will not be the case with the budget-friendly Realme 6.
Coming to the processors, according to our sources the Realme 6 Pro will be the first smartphone in India to be powered by the new Snapdragon 720G while Realme 6 will come with MediaTek Helio G90. In order to bring the prices down, the 90Hz display on the 6 Pro will be an LCD panel with a fingerprint mounted on the frame of the phone. The Pro model will also come with 30W fast charging.
Our sources quote a starting price of INR 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB model for Realme 6 Pro while the Realme 6 will start at INR 9,999.
[Update] There could a price hike in the aforementioned price due to the ongoing Coronavirus Outbreak in China and subsequent shortage of raw materials. So expect the base variant of Realme 6 Pro to go as high as INR 15,000
