Xiaomi India has launched a new router in India, Mi Router 4C. This router is the successor of the Mi Router 3C which was launched in India back in 2017. The Mi Router 4C comes with only 2.4GHz support, just like its predecessor which can be a deal-breaker for a few.
Mi Router 4C comes with four High-performance antenna, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with up to 300Mbps speed support. It is a smart device and can be controlled via the Mi WiFi app which is available on both Android and iOS platforms. With 4 omnidirectional antennas, Mi Router 4C boasts of increased operating range and stronger signal reception. The router is powered by a MediaTek MT7628N chipset with 16MB ROM, 64MB RAM, and it can connect up to 64 devices.
Further, it also comes with a built-in repeater and can be used to pair with an existing router to extend the range. With the Mi WiFi app, one can view and manage the devices connected remotely. Also, it alerts when a new device is connected. The app can also be used to block and limit Wi-Fi usage.
