Honor has announced a new device in the Honor 20 series, the Honor 20S in China. The device was announced in China yesterday. It comes with a dew-drop notch style display, 7nm chipset, 20W fast charging, Gradient back and much more. However, the device misses out on the 3.5mm headphone.
The Honor 20S comes with a 6.26-inch FHD+ (2340×1080 pixels) TFT LCD display. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 810 clocked at 2.27GHz, ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. It comes in two variants 6/8GB RAM with 128GB Internal storage. The device is running on Magic UI 2.1.1 which is based on Android 9 Pie and is having a 3750mAH battery with 20W fast charging via Type-C port.
Over at the camera department, there is a triple rear camera set-up with a 48MP (Sony IMX586, f/1.8 aperture) + 8MP (wide-angle, f/2.4 aperture) + 2MP(depth, f/ 2.4 aperture) triple rear cameras. The camera features includes AI, super wide-angle, night scene mode, AR, portrait mode, super macro, photo, professional photo, video, short video, professional video, panoramic photo, streamer shutter (including water, maze, light graffiti), HDR, time-lapse photography, slow motion, continuous shooting, filter, large aperture, timed photo, voice-activated photo, smiley snap, dynamic photo, blackout, etc. At the front, the device houses a 32MP front camera with f/ 2.0 aperture, AI photography, Night scene mode, portrait mode, short video, panoramic mode, AR, time-lapse, and more.
Other notable features if the device includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G, Dual SIM, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n Bluetooth 5, GPS/AGPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo/QZSS.
