Realme is all set to announce a new smartphone in the Indian market next week. The company will be announcing Realme 5 series smartphone in India on August as per the new teaser on Flipkart page. The launch is scheduled on August 20th, 12:30PM.
Further, the teaser also reveals that the upcoming Realme 5 series smartphone will come with a quad-camera on the rear with a primary, ultra-wide, super macro, and portrait lens.
- The primary lens for a low-light shot with large aperture and pixel size.
- An ultra-wide lens with 119-degree Field of View to capture 1.5x more.
- Super macro lens with 4cm microscopic focal-length.
- Portrait lens for better, sharper, and clear portraits.
Also, Madha Sheth, CEO, Realme Mobiles has tweeted earlier today saying “4+48+586+119 RT and tag 4 friends to make your #Quad5quad to guess what these numbers mean and win big! Stay tuned as we launch #realme5series live at 12:30 PM, 20th August”. From this tweet, we can clearly see that the primary sensor will be a Sony IMX586, similar to Realme X’s primary sensor.
Last week, the company showcased its 64MP camera technology at an event in New Delhi and they also announced the company will announce a couple of Quad camera smartphones in the county. However, we highly doubt the upcoming Realme 5 series smartphone to pack in a 64MP sensor. But the Realme smartphone with 64MP sensor will be launched before Diwali this year. As of now, we don’t have any other information on the upcoming Realme 5 series smartphone, we should get more info on the same during the launch on August 20th.
