Vivo’s sub-brand, iQOO had announced iQOO smartphone back in March this year. Now, the company has announced two more smartphones in the series – iQOO Pro and iQOO Pro 5G. The newly launched iQOO Pro series comes with the latest Snapdragon 855+ chipset, up to 12GB RAM, In-display fingerprint scanner and 48MP triple rear cameras.
The iQOO Pro/Pro 5G flaunts a 6.41-inch Full HD+ (2340×1080p) Super AMOLED display with a dew-drop notch. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Octa-core 7nm Snapdragon 855+ processor with Adreno 640 GPU. The iQOO Pro comes within 2 variants – 8+128GB and 12+128GB. The iQOO Pro 5G comes in three variants – 8+128GB, 8+256GB, and 12+128GB. It is running on iQOO Monster UI based on Funtouch OS 9.1 which is on Android 9 Pie. Further, it is packed with a big 4500mAH battery with 445W fast charging via USB Type-C port.
In the optics department, the Vivo iQOO features a triple rear camera set-up(48MP+13MP+2MP) with the primary 48MP with an f/1.79 aperture, the secondary 13MP with an f/2.2 aperture, wide-angle lens and the 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. Some of the camera modes include Panorama, beauty, photo, super HDR, video, AR shoot, night mode 2.0, and pro mode. Over at the front, the IQOO Pro comes with a 12MP shooter.
Further, the smartphones also come with pressure-sensitive Monster Touch buttons on the side frame to help gamers play games seamlessly, it also comes with a Monster Halo cooling system as this device is targeted to the gamers. iQOO packs in an In-display fingerprint scanner and also Face Unlock for security. Other features include Game Space 2.0, NFC, smart assistant – Jovi.
