Honor has announced the Honor 9X at an event in China today. The Honor 9X is the successor to the last year’s Honor 8X, which was also launched in India. The Honor 9X comes with a pop-up camera, AI dual rear cameras and also comes with a pop-up selfie camera.

Diving into the specifications, the Honor 9X comes with a 6.59-inch Full HD+(2340x1080p) display. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core in-house, Hisilicon Kirin 810 processor clocking at 2.6GHz, ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. It comes in three variants – 4+64GB, 6+64GB, and 6+128GB with MicroSD card support. The device is packed with a big 4000mAH battery with Type-C port and the device is running on EMUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie.

In the camera department, the Honor 9X features a 48MP(f/1.8)+2MP(Depth) AI dual rear cameras with LED flash. And, over at the front, there is a 16MP pop-up camera with f/2.2 aperture, the first pop-up camera for Honor in this series. Also, the device comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, which is also the first in this series. It also supports face unlock. Other features include – Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
