Amazon has announced all-new Kindle Oasis with new color adjustable font light here in India. The adjustable font light allows you to customize the color tone from cool to warm to easily transition from daytime to a comfortable nighttime reading experience. You can even schedule the screen warmth to update automatically with sunrise and sunset.

The all-new Kindle Oasis comes with a 7-inch, 300 ppi display, it fits over 30 percent more words per page for fewer page turns. Also, the display is bright enough to read it in outdoors, it weighs just 194 grams, 10 grams less than theKindle Paperwhite. With IPX8 rating, it can be immersed in up to two meters of fresh water for up to 60 minutes. Also, it can withstand getting splashed at the beach or dropped in the bathtub, hot tub, or pool. A single charge will last up to six weeks, based on a half hour of reading per day with wireless and Bluetooth off and the light setting at 13. Battery life will vary based on light settings, wireless usage. The new Kindle Oasis can be fully charged in approximately 3 hours from a 5W USB power adapter or computer via USB cable. On the connectivity front, it supports public and private Wi-Fi networks or hotspots that use the 802.11b, 802.11g, or 802.11n standard with support for WEP, WPA and WPA2 security using password authentication or Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). The new device comes in Graphite and Champagne Gold color options.

The all-new Kindle Oasis will start shipping August 19 and is available for pre-order today at for INR 21,999 for 8GB version, and INR 24,999 for 32GB version. The new device comes in Graphite and Champagne Gold color options.
