Google had announced Android Q Beta program for over 20 devices during the Google IO 2019 last month and a few days back following the controversy between Huawei and US government, Google, who is the owner of Android had taken down the Huawei’s flagship smartphone, Huawei Mate 20 Pro from the Android Q Beta list on their official site. Now, the company has confirmed that Google has reinstated Huawei Mate 20 Pro’s position to its Android Q beta program.
Developers are invited to try out the latest Android test build on Huawei Mate 20 Pro and contribute to optimizing and improving device compatibility of Android Q. The brand reiterated that its quality of service, as well as the software updates that are available to the brand’s existing pool of customers, will continue as usual. Huawei has maintained close relationships with many US-based companies and partners, who have been very supportive of the brand in these tough times. Huawei is confident that the issue will get resolved amicably and customers will continue to enjoy Huawei’s pioneering technological innovations, ably backed by its US partners, said the company.
