Fossil Sport Smartwatch

Fossil has launched a new Sports Smartwatch that runs on Google’s WearOS(previously known as Android Wear) in India. The Fossil Sport Smartwatch was announced back in November 2018 and it is powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor which is specifically designed for the wearable devices.

The Fossil Sport is compatible with Android smartphones running on v4.4 or higher and iOS 9.3 or higher. It comes with a built-in Fitness Tracker that helps you track steps taken, calories burnt, distance walked and many more useful feeds. Further, it houses a heart rate tracker, GPS. The watch is swimproof (waterproof up to 5 ATM)and comes with interchangeable watch band. The smartwatch is running on WearOS 2.1 so, you can take control of your smartphone notifications, personalize your dial, and you can control your music with the smartwatch. As the watch comes with a crown at the side, you can easily navigate through the screen of your watch without covering the display.Fossil Sport Smartwatch The Smartwatch comes in two sizes- 41 and 43 mm. On the connectivity front, the Fossil Sport comes with Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC. It comes with 4GB of internal storage. The sensors on the watch include Accelerometer, Altimeter, Ambient Light, Gyroscope, Heart Rate, Microphone, and Untethered GPS. It packs in a 350mAH battery and offers all day long battery with quick charge support. It supports wireless syncing and magnetic charging. It has support for Google Assistant and also shows some of the important cards when you swipe right and when you swipe left, you’ll see the Google Fit data.

Pricing and Availability

The Fossil Sport Smartwatch is priced at INR 17,995 and is now available on the official site. It is available in only two color options in India– BLACK SILICONE and BLUSH SILICONE.
