Redmi Note 7S

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 series is performing exceptionally well in the Indian market. In the last couple of months itself, the company has managed to sell over 2 Million Redmi Note 7 series smartphones. Now, the company is all set to bring a new Redmi Note 7 series smartphone – Redmi Note 7S with a 48MP rear camera. Xiaomi India has started teasing about the new smartphone on social media platforms and on the forum.

The Twitter post from official handle says ” This is the #RedmiNote you’ve been waiting for! 👀 #RedmiNote7S with a Super #48MP camera is coming on 20th May!” confirming the presence of the 48MP rear camera. The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 48MP rear camera and we expect the Redmi Note 7S to feature the same 48MP rear camera along with a secondary sensor along with 5MP depth sensor.

There is no further detail on the Redmi Note 7S specifications except for the camera. As said earlier, the Redmi Note 7S will most likely feature the same dual rear cameras as seen on the Note 7 Pro with a 48MP primary rear camera along with a secondary 5MP depth sensor. The primary 48MP shooter is a Sony IMX586 sensor with an f/1.79 aperture, EIS, 6P lens and the camera also supports up to 4K video recording at 30fps. A few weeks ago, the company had announced that they will be announced a smartphone with Snapdragon 710 chipset so we might witness the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S with the same chipset.
