OPPO has officially announced the Reno series smartphone in India today – the company has announced two smartphones, OPPO Reno and OPPO Reno 10X Zoom Edition. The more affordable of the two, OPPO Reno comes with a unique side-raising front camera at the top, in-display fingerprint scanner, and much more.
The OPPO Reno features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ (2340 × 1080p)AMOLED display, with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection over at the front. OPPO Reno is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, Adreno 616 GPU. The OPPO Reno comes only in one variant – 8GB+256GB and there is no external storage support. The device is running on Android 9.0 Pie and is backed with a 3765mAH battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging via Type-C port.
Coming to the camera department on the OPPO Reno, it features a 48MP(f/1.7)+5MP(f/2.4) dual cameras with LED flash, 1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8um pixel size, PDAF at the rear and over at the front, it comes with a unique side-raising front camera at the top with a 16MP f/2.0 aperture, 79.3° wide angle, and LED flash. Some of the other interesting features of the device include ultra-clear night view 2.0, Game Boost 2.0 for a better gaming experience, In-display fingerprint scanner for security, 3.5 mm audio jack, Hi-Res audio, and Dolby Atmos.
