Oppo has today announced a new budget smartphone here in India – Oppo A5s. Oppo A5s will be the successor to the Oppo A3s which was launched back in July 2018. The Oppo A5s comes with meticulous design to its back cover and frames. The texture of the mirror-finish back cover offers a premium finish, while its smooth surface picks up streams of light to create a stunning visual experience.
Coming to the specifications, the Oppo A5s comes with a big 6.2-inch HD+(1520 x 720 pixels) 19:9 water-drop notch style display, under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core 2.3GHz Helio P35 SoC (MTK MT6765)which is built on 12nm FinFET node with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The Oppo A5s comes in two variants – 2GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB with microSD card support. The device is backed with a 4230mAH and is running on ColorOS 5.2.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. 
On the camera front, the Oppo A5s sports 13MP(f/2.2)+2MP(f/2.4) rear cameras with LED flash, a 5P lens to precisely control the light path. The multi-frame anti-shake technology ensures a smoother, more stable video. At the front, there is an 8MP front camera and f/2.0 aperture which offers more natural and personalized beautification options. Other features of the device include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB OTG support.
Pricing and Availability
The OPPO A5s is priced at INR 9,990 and comes in Red and Balck colors. The OPPO A5s will be available on Flipkart, Amazon, PayTM Snapdeal, Tata CLiQ, PayTM Mall and all offline stores from 20th April 2019 and the 4GB+64GB variant will be available in green and gold color in May 2019.
