Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL

Google’s annual developer conference, Google I/O is scheduled from May 7-9, 2019 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA, USA. Google I/O brings together developers from around the globe for talks, hands-on learning with Google experts, and a first look at Google’s latest developer products. This time around, Google is teasing a new product launch on May 8, 2019.

At the Google I/0 this year, we might witness the launch of new smartphones – the long-rumored Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL. Google Store(USA) has started teasing “Help is on the way. On 8 May, something big is coming to the Pixel universe“. The page is Avengers themed and is also promoting Marvel’s upcoming movie: End Game along with the Avengers Playground stickers.

Based on the previous few leaks, the upcoming Google Pixel 3a, and 3a XL. The Pixel 3a is rumored to come with a 5.56-inch Full-HD+ display, Snapdragon 670 SoC, Adreno 620 GPU, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, Android 9.0 Pie, 12.2MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera, and rear fingerprint scanner. The Google Pixel 3a XL is rumored to come with a 6-inch Full-HD+ display, Snapdragon 710 SoC, Adreno 616 GPU, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, Android 9.0 Pie, 12.2MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera, and rear fingerprint scanner. Both the smartphones are expected to pack in 3000mAH battery with Quick Charge 4 support.

Further, both the smartphones are expected to come with Active Edge feature which enables users to Squeeze the smartphone to launch the Google assistant. It is also expected to come with only one port, the USB Type-C and will say goodbye to 3.5mm Headphone jack.
