Huawei Watch GT

Huawei has announced a new smartwatch in India today, the Huawei Watch GT. Huawei Watch GT was originally announced back in October 2018 along with the launch of the Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, and the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 20 RSHuawei Watch GT The Watch GT comes with a 1.39 inch(454 x 454 pixels) AMOLED color display which supports slide and touch gestures. It is powered by ARM M4 processor with 16MB of RAM and 128 MB of onboard storage. It also comes with GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO support for tracking multiple activities. On the connectivity front, the watch supports Bluetooth v4.2, NFC and there is no Wi-Fi support. Coming to the sensors, it packs in Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Optical heart rate, Ambient light, Barometer sensor. It is compatible with Android 4.4 or later, iOS 9.0 or later. Huawei Watch GT is packed with a 420mAH battery and the company promises a 14 days battery life with typical usage and it takes less than 2 hours to fully charge the watch. The watch runs on the company’s own OS and not Google’s WearOS. Huawei Watch GTFurther, this watch provides coaching in introductory to advanced running courses to assist you in real-time while also providing guidance training and giving time-movement effect feedback. Huawei TruSleep 2.0 identifies common sleep-related issues and provides more than 200 potential suggestions to help you sleep better. Also, the watch will show notifications of any messages, phone calls, alarms or set reminders.

Pricing and Availability

Huawei Watch GT at INR 15,990 for Sports Band Edition and INR 16,990 for Classic Leather Band Editio and the buyers also get Huawei Wireless BT Handsfree worth INR 2,999 free. The Huawei Watch GT will go on sale from 19th March on Amazon.in.
