Xiaomi, along with the announcement of Redmi Note 7 Pro has also announced Redmi Note 7 here in India today. The Redmi Note 7 was last month in China however, there are few major differences in the camera and performance department compared to the Chinese variant.
The Redmi Note 7 comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2340*1080) LTPS in-cell display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection over at the front as well as the back. Also, the device comes with a 2.5D curved glass design at the front as well as at the rear. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-core 11nm Snapdragon 660 AIE with Kryo 260 architecture clocked at 2.2GHz, Adreno 512. It comes with 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB storage options with microSD card support. It is packed with a Xiaomi Redmi Note series standard 4000mAH battery with 18W Quick Charge 4.0 support via USB Type-C however, in the box, you will be getting only a 10W charger. Further, the Redmi Note 7 comes with a 12MP+2MP AI dual rear cameras with 1.25-micron pixel larger pixel size, AI scene detection, and handheld night mode. Over at the front, the Redmi Note 7 comes with a 13MP camera. Both the front and the rear camera comes with support for AI portrait selfie and studio lighting feature.
