Dell has announced a new gaming machine at the CES 2019, the Alienware m17. The m17 is Alienware’s thinnest, lightest 17-inch laptop at only 5.79 lbs(2.62Kgs), which is 40% lighter than its predecessor. The gaming laptop is available in Epic Silver and Nebula Red color options and is made up of materials as magnesium alloy and copper. The Alienware m17 will be available from January 29 for a starting price of $1,649.99.
Along with exceptional thermal management, gamers will marvel at its gameplay performance with the option of 8th-gen Intel Core i9K processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q GPUs for an ultimate laptop gaming experience. The GeForce RTX 20 Series graphic processors for laptops are powered by Turing architecture with real-time ray tracing, artificial intelligence and programmable shading that enable Alienware’s thinnest, fastest and quietest laptops. The Alienware m17 is custom-designed for gamers on-the-go who value lightness. The laptop comes with a 17.3-inch display with full HD/QHD resolution. The company has also refreshed the Alienware m15 line-up with Intel Core i9 processors and new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 Series graphics. The Alienware m15 sports a 15.6-inch display with up to 32GB of system memory and up to 1TB of storage. It only weighs 4.76 lbs(2.15Kgs). The Alienware m15 will be available from January 29 for a starting price of $1,579.99. The company has also announced that the Alienware m15 and m17 have earned a 2019 CES Innovation Award in the gaming category for outstanding product design and engineering. Furthermore, Dell will announce new hardware, software, and partnership in a couple of days at the CES 2019.
