OnePlus has kickstarted their Open Beta program to the recently launched flagship, OnePlus 6T. Open Beta platform is where the OnePlus users with the device flash the first build once and they will start receiving the future Open Beta builds as OTA. The Open Beta channel will be one of the fastest ways to get the software update on the OnePlus devices. The Open Beta program was started from the OnePlus 3 way back in 2017. The Open Beta 1 for OnePlus 6T doesn’t bring any major changes to the system. A couple of notable features include support for data migration from iPhone via onePlus Switch app. And, the update also brings the latest Android security patch(2018.12).
