Xiaomi Mi A1

Xiaomi has started rolling out the stable Android 9.0 Pie update to their first Android One smartphone, Xiaomi Mi A1. The company has started a wider roll-out of the update of stable Android Pie in India as well as all over the globe. The update brings an overall UI change with a fresh design language along with a new navigation option. The OTA update comes in 1069.1MB and it also brings the latest December 2018 security patch.

Further, the update brings FM Radio to the Mi A1, Dual 4G VoLTE update, which is becoming kinda necessary in India these days. The Android Pie 9.0 features like Adaptive Battery which uses Machine Learning and gives the system resources for the apps based on the priority, Adaptive Brightness, which is powered by AI and a new navigation gestures, recommended Apps and Actions based on user context using machine learning in the launcher.

The Mi A1 was launched with a 5.5-inch FHD display, dual rear camera, and when launched, it was running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat update and this is the second Android upgrade after the Android Oreo update.
