Huawei announced two new wearables during the announcement of the Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, and the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 20 RS. The two new wearables are the Huawei Watch GT and the Band 3. they offer novel and sophisticated ways for users to track their activities and receive fitness coaching that is based on scientific research.
Huawei Band 3 Pro
The Huawei Band 3 comes with a 0.95 inches (120 x 240 pixels) 2.5D AMOLED touch color display. It is powered by Applo 3 microprocessor and comes with built-in GPS for tracking multiple activities, it comes to with 384 KB RAM and 1MB ROM with 16 MB flash storage. On the sensors front, it features a 6-axis acceleration sensor, Detached PPG cardiotachometer, Infrared wear sensor. It is packed 100mAh lithium-ion battery, it charges through a two PIN charging port, connected to charging cradle through a clip. The watch is water-resistant (5 ATM) and comes with Bluetooth 4.2 for connectivity. The Band weighs Approximately 25gms.Further, it also houses a smart HR monitor using IR light backed by AI that will give users precise, up-to-the-second heart rate data day or night with the HUAWEI TruSeen 3.0 precision heart monitoring system. Other features are Find my phone, incoming call alerts and caller ID that lets you reject calls, the content preview for messages, photo timer and remote, all with a touch of your finger to your wrist.
Huawei Watch GT
The Watch GT comes with a 1.39 inch(454 x 454 pixels) AMOLED color display which supports slide and touch gestures. It also comes with GPS support for tracking multiple activities. It comes with 16MB of RAM and 128 MB of onboard storage. On the connectivity front, the watch only supports Bluetooth v4.2, NFC and there is no Wi-Fi support. Coming to the sensors, it packs in Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Optical heart rate, Ambient light, Barometer sensor. It is compatible with Android 4.4 or later, iOS 9.0 or later. Huawei promises a 14 days battery life with typical usage and it takes less than 2 hours to fully charge the watch. The watch runs on the company’s own OS and not Google’s WearOS.Further, this watch provides coaching in introductory to advanced running courses to assist you in real-time while also providing guidance training and giving time-movement effect feedback. Huawei TruSleep 2.0 identifies common sleep-related issues and provides more than 200 potential suggestions to help you sleep better. Also, the watch will show notifications of any messages, phone calls, alarms or set reminders.

The Huawei Watch GT is priced at €199 and the Huawei Band 3 Pro is priced at €99.
