Today, Uber Eats has announced a comprehensive insurance programme for delivery partners in India. The program is launched in partnership with Tata AIG, one of the leading private sector general insurance companies in India, this insurance program aims to make delivering with Uber Eats a rewarding experience for delivery partners across the country. Uber Eats, the on-demand food delivery app, which was announced in May 2017 in India has grown its presence in 29 cities across the country. Uber EatsThis insurance program insures Uber Eats delivery partners for up to INR 5 lacs against accidental death and permanent disability, when they are on the road providing delivery services through the Uber Eats App. The policy also provides coverage of INR 2 lacs against medical hospitalization expenses and an outpatient cover of INR 50,000. Delivery partners are covered right from their first order on the Uber Eats App. This unique insurance cover will be offered free of cost to delivery partners, giving them peace of mind, while enjoying the flexibility of independent work as Uber Eats delivery partners.

Our goal is to be the preferred choice for anyone pursuing the opportunity of becoming a delivery partner with Uber Eats.
