Oppo today announced the Oppo F9 which is the cheaper version of the recently launched Oppo F9 Pro with few changes. The new Oppo F9 comes with 3500mAh battery and lacks the Vooc Flash charge which is present on the F9 Pro. It sports a dual rear camera and comes with a 16MP selfie shooter.
The Oppo F9 comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+(2280*1080 pixel) along with a water drop notch as seen on the Oppo F9 Pro, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8%. It is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor, ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It comes in 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage with microSD card support up to 256GB. It packs in a pretty decent 3500mAh battery and is running on Oppo’s ColorOS 5.2 skin on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. 
Coming to the camera department, there is a dual rear camera setup(16MP+2MP) at the rear with the primary 16MP shooter that comes with a f/1.85 aperture and the secondary 2MP shooter to get those portrait shots by blurring the background, it comes with AI beautification to get an exclusive portrait lighting style. The F9 can collect 296 feature points for each subject, referencing them against its massive database of facial images, analyzing before making enhancements, customized for each subject. The AI Beauty Technology 2.1 can provide users with up to 8 million different personalized beautification effects now selfies are more attractive while keeping the natural look of each human subject intact. Also, Oppo F9 supports AR Stickers and slow-motion video. It sports a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies. Further, it is equipped with a rear fingerprint scanner and comes with Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS features.

Pricing and Availability
The Oppo F9 is priced at INR 19,990 and is available in Mist Black and Stellar Purple color options, it will go on sale on Flipkart as well as offline stores across India starting from September 15.
