Xiaomi India today unveiled their third generation of the popular Mi Band. The Mi Band 3 is the successor to the last year’s Mi Band 2. The Mi Band 3 comes with a 20-day long battery with a single charge. The Mi Band 3 sports a 0.78-inch OLED display which is having a scratch resistant glass and also comes with an anti-fingerprint coating to avoid fingerprints. The display is also now touched sensitive, unlike the previous gen Band. The display will show you the time, steps taken, heart rate, activities, weather and the notifications that come to your smartphone when connected via Bluetooth. The Mi Band 3 will show real-time data for running, cycling, walking, and other activities. The display can show up to 5 notification so, now you can read the WhatsApp messages which was not possible on the Mi Band 2.Mi Band 3 Further, it comes with a button on the front, and you can view the caller name on the band, and reject the call with a long press of the button. It comes with a slightly bigger battery- 110mAh and can last up to 20days on a single charge. The module is removable and it should be charged using the proprietary charging cable that comes in the box. The Band is 5ATM waterproof so that you can take it for swimming under 50 meters and also take it outdoor without worrying. The band also comes with Find My Phone option, when you misplace your phone, you can just ring with just a few clicks.

The companion Mi-Fit app is available for both Android and iOS.
