LG India has announced a new mid-range smartphone in the country today. The LG Q Stylus+ comes with a Stylus support as the name suggests and it is having a big 6.2-inch FHD+ FullVision display, 64GB storage and is running on Android 8.1 Oreo. The device is priced at INR 21,990 and will be from 5th Sep 2018 across India.
The LG Q Stylus+comes with a 6.2-inch(2160 x 1080pixel) 18:9 FullHD+ FullVision display, it is powered by an Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. In the memory and storage department, the device is having 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage with microSD card support up to 2TB. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with a proprietary LG layer of skin called LG UX. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the rear of the device. It comes with 3,300mAh battery with Quick Charge via USB Type-C port. In the camera department, the LG Q Stylus+ sports an 8MP front camera and 16MP rear lens with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) that makes the camera 23 percent faster than conventional autofocus. It is equipped with advanced DTS:X for up to 7.1 channel 3D surround sound while listening on earphones. Other features include IP68 water and dust protection and MIL-STD 810G compliance. The Smart Rear Key fingerprint sensor at the rear not only provides easy-to-reach security but also doubles as the selfie camera shutter button.
The Stylus
With an aim to enhance convenience and functionality beyond the regular keyboard experience, the Stylus provides handwritten input features, for the times when writing is more productive and expressive than typing. Apart from this, the intelligent palm rejection system ensures that accuracy is never an issue even while resting one’s hand on the display. The smartphone can recognize and record handwritten notes even when the display is off. Beyond notes and memos, the stylus can also be utilized to personalize captured images and videos to create animated GIFs.
