Sony has announced a new flagship smartphone in India today, Sony Xperia XZ2. The Sony Xperia XZ2 will cost you whooping INR 72,990 here in India and will be available from 1st August 2018 at select Sony Center and select Mobile stores across the country in Liquid Black, Liquid Silver, Deep Green, and Ash Pink colors.

So, what does Sony offer for INR 72,990?

The Sony Xperia XZ2 comes with a 5.7-inch 18:9 HDR TRILUMINOS Display with X-Reality and is covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5.  It is powered by the latest Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 SoC and is coupled with Adreno 630GPU. It comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with microSD card support up to 400GB. It is running on Android 8.1 Oreo and is packed with a 3180mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, Qi Wireless charging, and USB Power Delivery. Sony Xperia XZ2The Xperia XZ2 sports a 19MP rear camera with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, Predictive capture, 5-axis stabilization, 4K video recording, 960fps slow-motion video and there is a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 3D Selfie Capturing with 3D Creator. The smartphone is also IP65/IP68 Water and Dust Resistant rated. It has support for Google’s ARCore and Google lens to provide virtual world experience. ARCore is a development platform for building augmented reality apps (AR apps) for Android mobile devices. Google Lens allows AI to recognize what you photographed using the camera, search for and display related information, recognize characters, capture them as text, and translate.
