Fitbit ships more than one million Fitbit Versa devices in a month

Fitbit today has announced that they’ve shipped more than one million Fitbit Versa devices since the sale started on April 16. Also, Fitbit announced that more than 2.4 million users have already used its new female health tracking feature, which became available to all Fitbit users last month. Within the first two weeks that female health tracking was first made available to iOS and Windows users, more than 1 million women began using this feature. Now with cross-platform availability for Android users as well:

• More than 2.4 million users have added the feature to their Fitbit app
• 1.8 million users have added at least one period to the calendar
• More than 500,000 users have added two or more retrospective periods
• Nearly 700,000 users have logged one or more symptoms

Fitbit Versa is the latest fitness smartwatch with a modern design. This is Fitbit’s lightest smartwatch and offers a comfortable design and a new dashboard that simplifies how you access your health and fitness data. The smartwatch comes with features like 24/7 heart rate tracking, onscreen workouts, and automatic sleep stages tracking meet smart features like quick replies on Android, wallet-free payments, and on-device music, the company claims a 4+ days battery life. The female health tracking helps women track their menstrual cycle, view holistic health data in one place. Female health tracking will be available on-device for Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Ionic users, and to all Fitbit.

Fitbit continues to see growth in apps and clock faces built for Fitbit OS. Through its software development kit (SDK), more than 18,000 developers have joined the Fitbit developer community and over 900 apps and clock faces have been built.The Fitbit Versa is available for INR 19,999, it is available in black with a black aluminum case, grey with a silver aluminum case or peach with a rose gold aluminum case.  Fitbit Versa will be available in India from May 13th across Reliance Digital, Croma, Helios and other major retailers offline and exclusively online on Amazon India for INR 19,999. Fitbit Versa Special Edition will also retail for INR 21,999 and accessories range from INR 2,499 to INR 8,999.
