Asus Zenfone 5Z

Back in February, Asus had announced the Asus Zenfone 5Z at the Mobile World Congress 2018 along with the Asus Zenfone 5. Today, Flipkart has teased the launch of the Asus Zenfone 5Z in India, the teaser says “The Smartphone you have been waiting for” and “Flagship Redefined”. The launch flagship smartphone will be unveiled on 4th July at 12:30PM IST.

The Zenfone 5Z comes with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass IPS display. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and Adreno 630 GPU. It comes in 4GB / 6GB / 8GB RAM with 64GB /128GB / 256GB storage options with expandable memory up to 2TB. It is running on Android 8.0 Oreo with ZenUI 5.0. It packs in a 3300mAh battery with ASUS BoostMaster fast charging and AI charging.Asus Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5Z In the camera department, it sports a 12MP+8MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, OIS/EIS, Pro mode with RAW support, the secondary 8MP camera comes with f/2.0 aperture, OV8856 sensor, 120-degree wide-angle lens. There is an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, OV8856 sensor, 83-degree wide-angle lens for better selfies. Also, the front camera supports portrait and Selfie panorama features. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the rear of the device and there is also face unlock feature built-in. The device was priced at starting price of 479 Euros (INR 38179 approx.) in EU market. In India, it should be more aggressive as there are competitors like the OnePlus 6, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Honor 10.

  1. Asus is good brand but they should understand that nobody gonna pay 40k for them,i was expecting zenfone 5 first bcoz its a best mid range phone.and this could help asus to grab attention in market.
